Basic principles

The workspace of DrawBerry splits in five parts : the drawing window, the tools palette, the objects list, the variables window and the inspector.
  1. The drawing window
  2. The drawing window is the main window of the document. It is made of a customizable toolbar (1), the drawing itself, with which you will interact (2), and the contextual help for the selected tool (3).

  3. The tools palette
  4. The tools palette allows one to choose the type of the geometric object that one wants to create. For some of these tools - on the right of which a triangle is drawn - options are availables . They can be displayed by performing a long click or a left click on the tool button. A selected tool appears darkened in the palette.

  5. The objects list
  6. The objects list may be displayed either by the toolbar, or the Window -> Objects menu, or the ⇧-⌘-O shortcut. This list displays all the objects that have been created on the drawing. It provides basic informations on the objects, such as their names, definitions and types.

  7. The variables window
  8. The variables window may be displayed either by the toolbar, or the Window -> Variables menu, or the ⇧-⌘-V shortcut. It allows you to handle the advanced behavior of objects within DrawBerry.

  9. The inspector
  10. The inspector may be displayed either by the toolbar, or the Window -> Inspector menu, or the ⌘-I shortcut. It can be used to view and edit properties of selected objects.
