This file contains a brief overview of how to use the Laver & Woods Cricket Scorebook.
1. Click 'New Game' and enter in team names and match details. Click OK when done.
2. Score most balls with single mouse clicks on the buttons numbered 0 to 6.
3. Click 'W' for wides, 'Nb' for noball, 'B' for byes and 'Lb' for leg byes, followed by the number of runs scored.
- Double click the corresponding button for a wide, noball, bye or leg bye with no extra runs.
4. Click the 'wicket' button when a batsmen gets out.
5. Correct recent mistakes using the 'undo' button.
-To correct scoring mistakes from previous overs select the 'Ball Details' sheet and double click the description of the incorrect over. Then make the corrections using the corrections dialog box.
7. For less common score occurrences such as 'one short' click 'Other'.
A scorebook can be saved as a regular excel spreadsheet for archiving, e-mailing and posting on the web, by selecting 'Save Compressed' from the File menu.
Printing is done in black and white. For colour printing save a compressed version, open that in Microsoft Excel and print in colour.
