
Adding a new email attachment
You can attach email from your email reader to any product stored in LicenseKeeper in three ways. You can drag and drop selected emails to an item's attachments list or you can attach selected emails using the Attach Email menu or the Attach Email toolbar button.
To attach email using the toolbar:
- Select the product to add the attachment to.
- Click the Attachments tab.
- Open your email application
- Select the email(s) you would like to attach to the item.
- Switch back to LicenseKeeper.
- Click the Attach Email
- To view the contents of an attached email, double-click on the email in the attachments list.
To attach email using the menu:
- Select the product to add the attachment to.
- Click the Attachments tab.
- Open your email application
- Select the email(s) you would like to attach to the item.
- Switch back to LicenseKeeper.
- Open the Attachments main menu and select Attach Selected Email...
- To view the contents of an attached email, double-click on the email in the attachments list.
To attach email using drag and drop:
- Select the product to add the attachment to.
- Click the Attachments tab.
- Open your email application
- Select the email(s) you would like to attach to the product.
- Drag the email(s) on to the attachments list in the LicenseKeeper window. Depending on the speed of your computer, this may take a while as LicenseKeeper imports each selected email.
- To view the contents of the email, double-click on the email in the attachments list.
