Set Resolution


You can set  the image  resolution you will scan . The higher the resolution, the higher the image quality. But it will take much more time for the scanner to    scan.

1. Open  the "Resolution" list box and a list consisted of various resolution will pop up.

2. Click on the preset resolution to select it and you will scan the image by this resolution.
   Or you can choose "Custom" and a dialog box will pop up.

   You can customize the resolution in this box. There are two scroll bars in this dialog box. The top one is for the adjustment of the resolution in the X axis, and the low one for that in the Y axis. The two numbers above the middle of the two bars are the resolution in the X and Y axes respectively.

3. Drag the scroll bars towards the right or left until the resolution meets your need.

4. Press the "OK" button to save your setting and close this dialog box.

Note: Different resolution in X and Y axes may cause the scanned image out of shape. To avoid this, make sure that the "Sync" box is selected.
