XWN5001 / XWNB5201 / XWNB5602 Firmware Version 0.4.1.1

New Features & Enhancements:

1. Upgraded QCA WLAN driver to V11.4.
2. Updated WLAN Driver for compliance to the new regulatory EN300 328 V1.8.1 (Only CE board region device would apply this change, the North American board region device wouldn't be affected).

To Upgrade

Note: To avoid wireless disconnect issue during the firmware download process, NETGEAR recommends that firmware upgrade be performed on a computer with wired connection.

1. Write down all the settings which you changed from the default values, since you may need to re-enter them manually.
2. Download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop. The filename after extracting is XWN5001-V0.4.1.1.img
3. Log in to the NETGEAR web Genie for the access point.
4. Click Maintenance > Firmware Upgrade
5. Click Browse and find the file you just downloaded.
6. Click Upload. While the firmware is loading, do not interrupt the upgrade process.
7. When the upload is complete, access point restarts. The upgrade process typically takes about 1 minute.
