Penguin Card Layout: Four foundations vertically line the right side of the tableau. 49 cards are dealt to the tableau in seven piles, seven cards fanned down face up. Seven reserve piles horizontally line the bottom of the tableau.Three cards of the same rank (i.e., three 7 cards) are dealt to three of the foundations; the fourth card of that same rank is dealt in the first position (at the top) in pile to the very left. To Win the Game: Build all the cards starting from the base cards in the foundation in ascending order and by suit. To Play the Game: Build cards in descending order by suit on the tableau. You may move groups of cards. Move cards to the reserve piles if necessary. These are like free cells and may be moved later but only one at a time. Only one card can be in one reserve pile at a time. If a space becomes available on the tableau, it may only be filled by a card that is one less in rank than the base card. Build all the cards to the foundations to win. |
