This utility installs an updated version of the VAIO Hardware Diagnostics software and provides the following benefits:
- Integrates the "CD drive" and "DVD drive" diagnostic features into one "Optical Drive" diagnostic feature
- Deletes the task scheduler for collecting the ODD (Optical disc drive) / HDD (hard disk drive) information

- During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.

- Download the SOAVHD-P0309995-11C0.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAVHD-P0309995-11C0.EXE file to begin the installation.
- At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
- The screen will ask to uninstall the old version and install the new version, please follow the on-screen instructions.
- At the "Confirm Uninstall - Do you want to completely remove the selected application and all of its features?" screen, click "OK".
- At the "VAIO Hardware Diagnostics - Click Install to begin the installation" screen click "Install" to finish the installation.
