ngEmbed does a few things to your website's text, starting with converting emoticons to font-based smileys, image-based emojis (with Retina support), and by automatically highlighting source code syntax.
The plugin additionally can also read the page's text, finding links, and then embedding all multimedia and PDF files found by following those links right on the page.
It supports images, audio, and videos files, and can also work with YouTube and Vimeo videos as well.
ngEmbed comes with a few basic examples to show developers how it can be implemented.
A jQuery version of ngEmbed is also available.
ngEmbed was previously known as ngEmoticons.
